About Me

  • I am currently a Professor and Vice Dean at the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University, where I lead research initiatives in distributed computing systems and computer architecture. Prior to my current position, I served as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2016 to 2020. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Colorado, and my Master's degree in Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Science and Technology of China. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Hefei University of Technology.

  • I am currently seeking self-motivated students interested in systems research, particularly in the areas of AI systems, computer architecture, edge computing and robotics.

Research Interests

  • My current research is centered around building high-performance and energy-efficient AI systems, with a particular emphasis on large model inference across a wide range of computing platforms, including server and edge devices such as smartphones, robots, and other intelligent terminals.

  • Our work aims to advance intelligent computing systems by systematically improving computational efficiency, reducing power consumption, and enabling scalable, real-time operation.        Additionally, I continue to explore traditional research topics in computer architecture, including distributed computing, scalable system design, and architectural innovations for enhancing system reliability, security, and efficiency.
